We all have heard about the Reach for a Dream foundation, right?
Well, they have recently celebrated 32 years of fulfilling the dreams of children from across South Africa between the ages of 3 and 18 faced with a life-threatening illness and despite the lockdown and global pandemic, this non-profit organization is still engaging with children, families and medical teams across South Africa. The Foundation has had to adapt to this ‘new normal’, and in doing so has a list of dream children in waiting.
Because of this lockdown situation, it has affected Reach for a Dream’s largest annual fundraiser, Slipper Day, which was scheduled to happen on 8 May. Since this organization is hugely dependant on this funding, they are now experience a terrible setback which is affecting the good work they are doing.
Reach for a Dream have once again teamed up with Wimpy to initiate a Virtual Slipper Week which will run from 10 – 16 August 2020. How cool is that?
We are calling on all South Africans to come together and join Reach For A Dream and Wimpy between 10 – 16 of August to show support by making a donation https://wimpy.co.za/reach-for-a-dream/ to this inspiring cause and sharing a Slipper Selfie on social media.
For every donation of R30 and above, a FREE filter coffee voucher will be redeemable from your nearest Wimpy.
Let us all make a difference and get involved by:
• Making a donation of R30 or
• more here https://wimpy.co.za/reach-for-a-dream/
• Redeem and enjoy a FREE cup of Wimpy filter coffee
• Sharing your Slipper Selfie and tagging @ReachForADream and @WimpySA and using #BetterTogetherMoments #VirtualSlipperWeek
Together we can make dreams come true.
