Review: Pure Royal Shampoo & Conditioner

Hey there loves!

Seems like all I’m doing on here is product reviews but to be honest, I have been a bit stuck on ideas on what to write about. Today I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the Pure Royal Shampoo & Conditioner that I have received a while back. I like to take my time using the products I receive to form a clear feel of the product instead of just doing one wash and sharing my thoughts. Also, I am not the only guinea pig in my house.

Both shampoo and conditioner comes in 250ml tubes that are easily dispensable and can be stored in the shower caddy if that is your thing.

The promise
It strengthens, renews, hydrates and improves elasticity and suppleness. It hydrates dry hair, leaving the strands clean without stripping away the hair’s natural oils. It is suitable for chemically damaged hair while gently removing any products build up.

It is suitable for fine and brittle hair, strengthening the roots while regenerating the hair surface. It also promotes growth.

The packaging (on the front) says that it contains no sulfates, no parabens, no silicone, no petrolateum and no mineral oils but the list on the back tells me a totally different story.

Don’t give up on this products yet, I have not told you my story yet! and if you’re like me and have a little bit of natural hair rebellion inside of you…continue to read below.

My thoughts
Not a very strong smell, I love good smelling products – but it didn’t put me off at all. It lathers up very well and gives a good clean. My hair doesn’t feel stripped at all. The only reason that I wouldn’t buy it for myself is because I am more of a co-wash girl and shampoos are always last on my list.

Same as the conditioner, the smell is not very out there if you get what I’m saying. It gives really good slip and my hair feels moisturized afterwards every single time that I’ve used it. I would definitely purchase the conditioner for myself as I have been loving it as a CO-WASH. It leaves my hair feeling super soft which is why I love it.

It retails for about R75 at Clicks.

So there you go. My thoughts on the Pure Royal Shampoo & Conditioner.

Till later!
